This past Sunday we set our theme for 2016 at Gateway: Equipped to Shine. In the coming year our prayer is that as a church and as individuals we will be prepared by God to accomplish the tasks that He has set before us. We have the promise that God will give us the gifts, talents, insights, understanding and strength that we need to be useful servants of our Lord Jesus. God has good things for you to equip you. Be ready to be equipped, get ready to shine.
Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

- That we would receive equipping from godly believes, the word of God and God’s supernatural gifts.
- Understanding of our unique mission and part in the body of Christ.
- That we would shine brighter than ever in the face of darkness in the world.
