The Christmas season is nearly upon us and we are anticipating a wonderful time of celebration and family. Here is a listing of what’s happing this year at Gateway:
Ladies Christmas Brunch
December 3 11:00am
Calling all ladies for a fesitve morning together. More details to follow.
Gateway Family Christmas Party
December 11 6:30pm
It’s our biggest party of the year. Don’t miss out on a night full of appy’s and desserts, music, and testimonies. Bring some food to share and an ornament for the Testimony Tree. Have a talent to share? Call the office at 250.287.8133.
Christmas Celebration at the Tidemark
December 18 10:00am
Invite your friends and neighbours for a morning of music and hope. We are looking forward to celebrating the Wonderful news of Christmas with as many people as possible. Note: There will only be one service on Dec. 18th with no services at 403 5th.
Christmas Eve Services
December 24 5:00 & 7:00pm
Our annual hour-long candlelight services are a great opportunity to celebrate the real reason for the season. Carols, candles and the story of Jesus’ birth.
Christmas Day Service
December 25 10:00am
Jesus is Born! We will gather in one family service for a special morning of carols, a Christmas message and cinnamon buns. Yum.

Do you love to worship the Lord with music? Are you a musician or singer? This Saturday is a great opportunity for you to grow in your gifts and talents. Our Worship ministry is hosting a special Worship Training Day. Come and learn from our guest speakers Ryan DelBlanc (Surrey, BC) and Joelle Wilson (Comox Valley) as well as our worship leader Deanna DelBlanc.
The day will run from 10:00am-5:00pm and lunch will be provided. Bring your instrument and RSVP to the office at 250.287.8133.

This past week has changed the future. How? Well simply we prayed in faith and according to the words of Jesus we can now expect those things to come to pass. Keep your eyes open for an outpouring of life, wholeness, empowerment and hope. It’s a new day.
Take time to thank the Lord for the better future that we will now walk into because we took time to partner with Him in prayer.
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
